Scholarship Award:  As a member of HRNNI you may apply for a scholarship which is meant to provide financial assistance towards the HRCI or SHRM application and exam fees.  The amount of the scholarship will be up to $500 towards exam costs.

Number of Awards Given:  Two per year.  This award will be given for the exam window that occurs in the 12-months following the scholarship award.

Criteria for Eligibility:  Applicants must live, work, or provide HR services to a location in North Idaho and must meet the new exam eligibility requirements established by the HRCI/SHRM to be eligible for this scholarship.  These requirements can be found at the websites below.

2. Resume of no more than two pages in length.

   • Brief essay discussing, in your own words, why you are seeking certification and how it will enhance your HR career. Also explain your financial need for this scholarship.

   • Maximum two typed pages, double-spaced.
