Guest Speaker - Terry Gurno- Influence Greatness

Influence is the power that’s already working in and through your life and business.  In this presentation you'll discover how to use influence to bring out the greatness in those you lead and serve and what happens when you do!

Terry Gurno is the founder and CEO of INFLUENCE and TERRY GURNO GROUP. Drawing from thirty years of experience as a youth ministries leader, lead pastor of a mega-church, and CEO of a national real estate company, Terry understands first-hand the impact that strong leadership can have. These experiences, along with his heritage as a member of the Minnesota Chippewa Tribe, Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, were the catalyst that revealed his true purpose: to create an organization that inspires and empowers leaders to succeed.

9:20-10:05

Guest Speaker - Stacey Hanlon -Hiring in a Tight Labor Market

Stacey Hanlon has been a Sr. Workforce Consultant with the Idaho Department of Labor for over 7 years. In her position, she works with job seekers and area businesses to meet their employment and staffing needs.

One of her favorite aspects of her job is coordinating regular job fairs and networking meetings. Stacey also identifies topics of concern for employers, creating educational workshops on labor laws, recruiting, leadership, and innovative business practices.

Stacey is actively involved in community projects aimed at career development. She volunteers judging student presentations for Business Professionals of America and DECA competitions. As a member of the Post Falls Chamber Business, Education and Workforce Development Committee, Stacey gathers 150 professionals to interview about 200 graduating seniors each year for the Post Falls High School Reverse Job Fair. Most recently, she put together the Discovery Job Fair, which focused on hiring people with disabilities.

Stacey is a certified Global Career Development Facilitator, has earned her degree in Communications from North Idaho College, as well as a Certificate of Excellence in Communication.  She also studied Marketing and Communications at LCSC. She has been an Idaho resident for 26 years. She enjoys hiking and cycling throughout the Inland NW. Stacey is an avid trivia player, winning boatloads of bar swag by tapping into the depths of useless factoids she has gained through watching countless hours of documentaries.
