About the event

Topic:  Different Generations in the Workplace & the Future of Work

In a typical workplace meeting, you might expect to see colleagues around your age. However, today's workforce spans a wide age range, from Generation Z newcomers to seasoned older employees. While different generations can bring varying life experiences and viewpoints, making it seem hard to connect, this diversity is actually a strategic advantage. Recognizing and valuing each generation's unique strengths and perspectives can lead to better teamwork, higher productivity, and more creativity. Let's explore how to harness these diverse attributes towards a common goal.

Speaker: Jeff Conroy

Bio:

With a rich 30-year background in the nonprofit sector, holding executive roles at the Boy Scouts, United Way of Kootenai County, and St. Vincent de Paul North Idaho, Jeff has now shifted his focus to aiding various organizations. He contributes by sharing his expertise and emphasizing the importance of small, impactful actions. As a coach, presenter, and facilitator, Jeff is committed to two key principles: fostering leadership through coaching and mentoring and establishing robust, long-lasting partnerships with those he works with. He views these connections as more than just professional courtesies; they are the ties that foster excellence. Currently, Jeff is employed at Heritage Health as the Internal Communications Manager, where he is involved in staff engagement and cultivating the organization's culture.
