Speaker: Dr. Ben Earwicker
Details: In this presentation by the Idaho Human Rights Commission’s Director, participants will hear updates regarding discrimination complaints in Idaho during the last year as compared with previous years. Specific bases and issues of discrimination will be discussed, as well as trends in particular areas covered by state and federal anti-discrimination laws. Participants will also learn best practices when responding to a complaint of discrimination by an employee or customer.
Objectives: 1) Participants will be able to identify key trends and changes in reports of discrimination in Idaho during the previous fiscal year; 2) Participants will be able to articulate best practices when responding to and handling a charge of discrimination filed with the Human Rights Commission
