Topic: “COVID Economic Progress Report: a look at the economic damage caused by the COVID pandemic, and a discussion of the remarkable way that Idaho has been able to come back from the crash better than any other state.”

Bio: “Sam Wolkenhauer is the Idaho Department of Labor’s economist in Northern Idaho. In addition to providing regional stakeholders with economic data and analysis, he manages several forecasting projects for the State of Idaho, creating projections of the state’s demographics and employment. In his spare time, he enjoys studying Russian history and learning the Russian language.”

Bio: “Dave Darrow is the Idaho Department of Labor’s Comprehensive One-Stop Manager. He currently provides oversite and direction for the Post Falls local office. He has been with the Department of Labor since 1997 and has worked as a Workforce Consultant, as well as managed the Bonners Ferry local office and the Moscow local office. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his family and most of all his 5 awesome grandchildren.”
