Employers are all feeling the struggles of finding workers to fill their open positions. This meetings topic will cover how childcare impacts the workforce and how that impacts the state’s economy.
Speaker: Keri Cederquist, Community Impact Director, United Way of Idaho
Keri earned a BA in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Idaho, and applies those skills to understand social behavior and trends in education, health, and economic mobility, specifically for limited-resource households. Her work with United Way focuses on strengthening early care and education, affecting positive change for ALICE, and building capacity through local, regional, and statewide collaborations. For over a decade, Keri has worked and volunteered with a broad array of nonprofits. Since moving to Coeur d’Alene in 2012, she has been active in community organizations including Leadership Coeur d’Alene, the Region 1 Homeless Coalition, Coeur d’Alene Vision 2030, Emerge CDA, and the North Idaho chapter of the National Organization for Women.
Keri is mom to 7 year old Leon; they spend their time exploring the woods, rivers, and mountains, building Legos, thinking up puns, and pulling pranks on each other.
